Company “MEDENA COMMERCE” TEŠANJ LAUNCHES ISO 14001:2004 PROJECT!

At “MEDENA COMMERCE” in Tešanj, the ISO 14001:2004 project was launched on September 12, 2014.

Before the presentation by consultant Šefket Turalić, the company’s director and owner, Mr. Fikret Ireiz, briefly explained the decision to initiate this project. Ms. Selma Bradarić presented to the employees the updates regarding the signing of the code of conduct and a series of other improvements to be implemented in the company by the end of the year. Šefket Turalić presented the standard’s requirements to all employees and explained the importance of this standard as well as the role of each individual in the team regarding the standard’s requirements.

In addition to improving the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008, the company committed to certifying the environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2004 on the day of ISO 9001:2008 recertification—mid-December 2014.
